AlliedSignal Inc. Receives Airworthiness Directive Amendment for TSCP700-4B, -4E, and -5 Auxiliary Power Units

The Federal Aviation Administration has adopted an airworthiness directive amendment requiring AlliedSignal Inc. to remove from service certain high-pressure turbine disks in its TSCP700-4B, -4E, and -5 auxiliary power units due to a material defect that may cause disk rupture, and replace them with serviceable parts to prevent such failures.
