Sikorsky Aircraft Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for S-64F Helicopters

Sikorsky Aircraft is proposing a new airworthiness directive to inspect and potentially replace the main gearbox second stage lower planetary plate on its S-64F helicopters, following two incidents where the plate was found cracked, in an effort to prevent fatigue cracking and subsequent loss of control.
