FERC Proposes Amendments to Open Access Regulations for Interstate Natural Gas Pipelines

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is proposing to incorporate industry standards into its open access regulations, requiring interstate natural gas pipelines to follow Internet protocols and adhere to business practice standards for transactions and information sharing, building on standards adopted in 1996.
