FDA Announces Cooperative Agreement for Shellfish and Seafood Safety Assistance Project

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing its intention to award a $150,000 cooperative agreement to the Interstate Shellfish Sanitation Conference (ISSC) for the first year, with an additional 4 years of support available depending on federal funding and performance. This program aims to enhance the FDA's molluscan shellfish sanitation program and improve the quality and safety of shellfish products.
