FDA Proposes New Requirements for Food Labeling Claims

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is proposing to require food manufacturers to maintain records supporting nutrient content and health claims on food labels, making those records available to regulatory officials upon request, in order to ensure compliance with FDA regulations.
