FDA Grants Boehringer Ingelheim Permission to Use CFC Propellant in New Inhaler

The FDA has approved a petition from Boehringer Ingelheim to add a new inhaler containing metered-dose albuterol sulfate and ipratropium bromide to the list of products exempt from CFC propellant bans, allowing it to be marketed for an essential use.
