FDA Approves Ivermectin for Dogs to Prevent Canine Heartworm Disease

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended animal drug regulations to reflect approval of ivermectin tablets and chewable cubes for dogs to prevent heartworm disease, following a request from Merck & Co., Inc.
