FDA Amends Regulations for Indirect Food Additives and Sanitizers

The FDA is amending food additive regulations to allow the safe use of a specific mixture of chemicals as optical brighteners in food-contact polymers, in response to a petition from Hoechst Aktiengesellschaft.
