Referral of Debts to the Internal Revenue Service for Tax Refund Offset

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing interim regulations to refer delinquent debts to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for tax refund offset, allowing the EPA to collect debts from income tax refunds under certain conditions.
