California Kiwifruit Growers Propose Relaxation of Pack Requirements

The proposed rule would relax the pack requirements for kiwifruit grown in California, increasing the size variation tolerance for Size 45 containers from 5% to 10%, aiming to reduce grower and handler costs and enable more fruit to be packed and sold.
