US Reopens and Extends Comment Period for Fruit Tree Importation Rule

The US Department of Agriculture is reopening and extending the comment period for a proposed rule allowing the importation of certain fruit tree species from private nurseries in France, provided they are certified disease-free by the French plant protection service. The extension also removes Laredo, TX, from the list of ports with plant inspection stations.
