Coconino National Forest Plans Environmental Impact Statement for Pocket/Baker Ecosystem Management Projects

The Long Valley Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest is preparing an environmental impact statement for a series of projects aimed at managing lands within the Pocket/Baker Ecosystem, including thinning, prescribed fire, grazing pattern adjustments, and infrastructure restoration, to improve forest health, reduce dwarf mistletoe infection, and enhance watershed conditions.
