Environmental Impact Statement to be Prepared for Proposed 765,000-Volt Transmission Line by Appalachian Power Company

The US Forest Service will prepare a draft and final environmental impact statement for a proposed transmission line by Appalachian Power Company, spanning approximately twelve miles across the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests, the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, the New River, and R.D. Bailey Lake Flowage Easement Land in Virginia and West Virginia.
