U.S. Treasury Department Adopts Final Rule to Strengthen Burma Sanctions

The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has finalized a rule to enhance the Burma Sanctions Regulations, which were originally published in June 2021, to better implement a February 2021 Executive Order related to Burma, and includes additional guidance and definitions to aid in compliance.
