US FDA Final Rule on Veterinary Biological Products Packaging and Labeling Takes Effect on August 19, 1995

The US FDA has confirmed that its final rule on the packaging and labeling of veterinary biological products will go into effect on August 19, 1995, prohibiting the repackaging and relabeling of final containers of imported or licensed product for further sale or distribution, with a six-month grace period for repackaged products to be distributed until February 19, 1996.
