US Proposes Allowing Pork from Chihuahua to Transit the Country
The US is proposing to allow pork and pork products from the Mexican State of Chihuahua to transit the country for export to another country, under certain conditions, due to concerns over hog cholera. This move aims to facilitate trade by permitting the movement of fresh, chilled, and frozen pork and pork products from Chihuahua with minimal risk of introducing hog cholera.
