USDA Extends Validation Period for California Kiwifruit Inspection Certificates

The US Department of Agriculture has revised the inspection requirements for California-grown kiwifruit, extending the validation period for initial inspection certificates from December 15 to December 31 or 21 days from the date of inspection, whichever is later, to reduce costs to the industry.
