Customs Regulations to Exempt Reusable Shipping Devices from Serial Numbering and Marking Requirements

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is amending its regulations to exempt certain reusable shipping devices manufactured in the U.S. or Canada/Mexico from serial numbering and marking requirements, provided they are transported in intermodal containers, alleviating a burden on commerce that affects millions of transportation moves between the U.S. and its neighbors.
