Suspension of United States-Canada Free-Trade Agreement Implementing Regulations
The United States-Canada Free-Trade Agreement (CFTA) implementing regulations have been amended to reflect the suspension of CFTA operations, which occurred as a result of the implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) on January 1, 1994. These regulations remain in effect only for merchandise imported from Canada that was entered or withdrawn from warehouse prior to NAFTA's implementation.
