Credit for Employer Social Security Taxes Paid on Employee Tips

The IRS has removed the temporary regulations allowing employers to claim a credit for FICA taxes paid on employee tips, which were set to expire on December 31, 1996, and were made obsolete by the Small Business Job Protection Act of 1996.
