NMFS Reclassifies Sacramento River Winter-run Chinook Salmon as Endangered

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has reclassified the Sacramento River winter-run chinook salmon from threatened to endangered under the Endangered Species Act of 1973 due to continued decline and increased variability of run sizes.
