Intent To Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for a Proposed Flood Control Project at Wailupe Valley, Honolulu, HI

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District, in partnership with the State of Hawaii, Department of Land and Natural Resources, and the City and County of Honolulu Department of Public Works, is proposing to develop solutions to the flooding problem caused by Wailupe Stream. Wailupe Stream is located on the east side of the island of Oahu in the community of Aina Haina. The completed project is expected to significantly reduce future flood damage.
