OWCP Updates Beryllium Sensitivity Criteria to Align with New Statutory Provision

The Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) is publishing a final rule to update its criteria for establishing beryllium sensitivity, aligning with a new provision enacted as part of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 on December 22, 2023, which provides an additional pathway for claimants to establish beryllium sensitivity due to occupational exposure to beryllium.
