TVA Approves New Highway and Bridge Project on Patton Island, Connecting Florence and Muscle Shoals

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has decided to adopt the 'build' alternative for a new highway and bridge project on Patton Island, spanning the Tennessee River and connecting the cities of Florence and Muscle Shoals, as recommended by the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration.
