DOT Issues Final Rule on Crash Resistant Fuel Systems for Rotorcraft

The Department of Transportation has finalized a rule requiring crash resistant fuel systems in normal and transport category rotorcraft to minimize fuel spillage and improve evacuation times in the event of a post-crash fire, ultimately saving lives and reducing injuries.
