OSHA Extends Comment Period and Schedules Public Hearing for Heat Injury and Illness Prevention Rule

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is extending the deadline for submitting comments on its proposed rule for heat injury and illness prevention in outdoor and indoor work settings until January 14, 2025, and scheduling an informal public hearing starting June 16, 2025. The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on August 30, 2024.
