US Department of Labor Proposes to Phase Out Subminimum Wages for Workers With Disabilities
The US Department of Labor has proposed to end the issuance of section 14(c) certificates, which allow employers to pay workers with disabilities lower wages, as it believes these wages are no longer necessary to prevent employment opportunities from being curtailed.
