EPA Proposes Rule to Extend Asbestos Protection to State and Local Government Employees

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to expand its Asbestos Worker Protection Rule to cover state and local government employees, including those in construction and automotive industries, in addition to those already covered under the rule, which was first introduced in 1987.
