EPA Updates Refrigerant Recycling Rules to Clarify Technician Certification

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is updating its rules on refrigerant recycling to clarify the conditions for grandfathering technician certification programs, allowing experienced technicians to receive formal certification. The agency is also expanding the exemption for apprentices from certification requirements.
