HUD Repeals Mortgagor Income Stability Requirement for Single Family Mortgage Insurance

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is eliminating a regulation requiring borrowers to maintain stable income for five years to qualify for mortgage insurance, allowing lenders to set their own income stability standards.
