US Department of Education Issues Final Rule on Student Assistance General Provisions

The US Department of Education has issued a final rule to modify procedures for handling appeals and challenges to Federal Family Education Loan Program institutional cohort default rates. This change is part of implementing updates to the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Higher Education Technical Amendments of 1993.
