U.S. Department of the Interior Amends Final Rule on Exotic Wild Bird Importation

The U.S. Department of the Interior has amended a final rule implementing the Wild Bird Conservation Act of 1992 to ensure the sustainable importation of exotic birds and prevent inhumane treatment during capture and transport, following a court order that declared a portion of the regulation as invalid.
