HUD Finalizes Risk-Sharing Program for Affordable Multifamily Loans

The Department of Housing and Urban Development has finalized a rule allowing state and local housing finance agencies to originate and service insured mortgage loans for affordable multifamily units, sharing the risk of loan defaults with HUD's Federal Housing Administration.
