US Government Proposes Changes to Small Business Acquisition Preferences
The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and the Defense Logistics Agency Regulation (DLAR) are proposing changes to give small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns a reduced evaluation preference in competitive acquisitions, from ten percent to five percent, and to provide regulatory coverage for domestic bulk petroleum solicitations and contracts concerning small business set-asides and evaluation preference for SDB concerns.
