Labor Condition Applications and Requirements for Employers Using Nonimmigrants on H-1B Visas in Specialty Occupations and as Fashion Models; Final Rule
The U.S. Department of Labor is issuing new regulations for employers seeking to hire foreign workers in specialty occupations and as fashion models under the H-1B visa program. The new rules, effective October 1, 1991, require employers to file labor condition applications with the Department before the Immigration and Naturalization Service can approve an H-1B visa petition.
