U.S. Army Engineer District, New York, Unveils Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Storm Damage Reduction Project Along Long Island's Atlantic Coast

The U.S. Army Engineer District, New York, has released a draft environmental impact statement for a $100 million project to reduce storm damage along the Atlantic coast of Long Island, from Jones Inlet to East Rockaway Inlet, and will consider the impact on communities such as Point Lookout, Nassau Beach, and Long Beach.
