OSHA Issues Interpretive Regulation on Employee Rescue Efforts

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is releasing a new interpretive rule to clarify its citation policy for voluntary employee rescue activities, as part of its efforts to enhance workplace safety and rescue operations.
