NMFS Proposes Monkfish Regulations to Implement Framework Adjustment 17

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is proposing new regulations to set monkfish specifications for 2026, project specifications for 2027 and 2028, and streamline the Annual Catch Limit overfishing trigger, in order to address updated scientific information and achieve the goals of the Monkfish Fishery Management Plan (FMP).
