US Department of Commerce Establishes Procedures for Steel and Aluminum Producers Committing to New Production in Canada or Mexico

The US Department of Commerce has issued procedures for steel and aluminum producers to submit documentation of new production capacity commitments in Canada or Mexico to be eligible for tariff adjustments under Proclamation 10984, which imposed additional tariffs on medium- and heavy-duty vehicles and parts to address national security concerns.
