Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Clarify Radiation Administration Regulations

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is proposing to amend its regulations to clarify that the medical administration of radiation or radioactive materials to any individual, even those not supposed to receive such administration, falls under the NRC's provisions governing the medical use of byproduct material, rather than the dose limits in its radiation protection standards regulations.
