Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Supplement to Generic Letter 88-20 on Individual Plant Examination of External Events

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is seeking public comment on a proposed generic letter supplement that would modify the seismic Individual Plant Examination of External Events (IPEEE) scope for nuclear plants, and provide guidance to licensees on voluntary modifications to their seismic IPEEE programs.
