Constraint Level for Air Emissions of Radionuclides
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing a limit of 10 millirems per year for the total effective dose equivalent from radionuclides released into the air from NRC-licensed facilities, excluding power reactors, to ensure compliance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and potentially rescind Clean Air Act (CAA) rules for these facilities.
