NHTSA Allows Importation of Non-Compliant 1991 Mercedes-Benz 200E Passenger Cars
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has made a decision to permit the importation of 1991 Mercedes-Benz 200E passenger cars that do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, as they are substantially similar to a compliant 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300E and can be easily modified to meet the standards.
