Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; Compressed Natural Gas Fuel Containers Reaffirmed
The U.S. government has reaffirmed the final rule for compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel containers, which established performance requirements and reduced the burst test safety factor from 3.33 to 2.25, in response to petitions for reconsideration.
