Regulatory Review

This notice announces completion of the 1994 Presidential Regulatory Review and the availability of a Final Report/Summary and Disposition of Comments. The FAA initiated a regulatory review in response to recommendations of the National Commission to Ensure a Strong Competitive Airline Industry, the National Performance Review, and Department of Transportation and FAA regulatory initiatives. The purpose of the review was to obtain and evaluate public comment on current regulations that could be amended or eliminated consistent with the agency's safety and security responsibilities.
