FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Mitsubishi Model YS-11 and -11A Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive requiring the implementation of a corrosion prevention and control program for Mitsubishi Model YS-11 and -11A series airplanes, following incidents involving corrosion and fatigue cracking in transport category airplanes.
