Proposed Policy Regarding Airport Rates and Charges

This document proposes a significant revision of the Policy Regarding Airport Rates and Charges published with request for comment on February 3, 1995. The proposed policy retains the structure and basic approach of the February 3 policy statement, but the strict requirement for equality of fees and costs based on historic cost valuation of assets would be limited to the airfield portion of an airport, and the policy would permit substantial flexibility in the establishment of fees for other aeronautical facilities. The revision reflects public comments received on the February 3 policy statement. This notice announces two public meetings on the proposed policy and reopens the comment period until October 23, 1995.
