De Havilland DHC-6 Series Airplanes: Revised Airworthiness Directive to Improve Horizontal Stabilizer Attachment Fittings
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an updated airworthiness directive (AD) for de Havilland DHC-6 series airplanes, requiring improved modifications to prevent separation of the horizontal stabilizer from the airplane and loss of control, following reports of loose attachment fittings on affected aircraft.
