Boeing Issues Airworthiness Directive for Model 234 Series Helicopters

Boeing has issued an airworthiness directive to update inspection intervals and criteria for Model 234 series helicopters, following reports of loose nuts on the transmission first stage sun and spiral bevel ring gear bolted connection, which could lead to transmission failure and loss of control.
