U.S. Department of Commerce to Revise Reporting Requirements for Annual Survey of Direct Investment Abroad

The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) is revising the reporting requirements for the Annual Survey of U.S. Direct Investment Abroad (BE-11), increasing the exemption level for certain foreign affiliates and introducing a new short-form reporting option for U.S. companies with smaller nonbank foreign affiliates.
